Analysis of the IR-UWB communication channel in case of “non-energy” receiver

The communication channel, in which impulse-radio ultra-wide band (IR-UWB) signals are used, is studied. The channel implements the “non-energy” receiving technique. The impact of the integration parameter of the receiver on the power budget is considered. The simulation of the IR-UWB system was done. Bit error rate (BER) curves of the channel are plotted for different values of integration coefficient. The conditions for optimal channel operation are considered.
