Using DNA sequencing in diagnosis of hereditary diseases in Al-Qunfudah, KSA

The Human Genome Project is kept captured the imagination of scientist, and still needs a lot of study and exploration. The study of the human genome will help in solving a lot of medical, psychological and criminal problems. It can use ancillary investigations for diagnosis of genetic diseases and to know the ability of someone to acquire disease and what type of food that suits him. The human body contains huge amount of information consisting of three billion nitrogenous bases contain many secrets yet to be discovered, our Lord has deposited a lot of secrets that show the greatness of creation and great ability. Studying the human genome had started in 2001and almost completed after twelve years of work among more than 10 research centers spread across Europe and the United States and cost billions of dollars. Now with new technology and the use of modern technologies in medicine and the computer it has become possible to read the human genome at a cost of no more than a couple of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time. This research aims to start applying the study of the human genome on Qunfudah province to help the people of the region and serve as a nucleus of a research center specializing in the study onto the human genome to the citizens of the region and contribute to the discovery of illnesses, endemic and Genetic diseases and all that helps maintain the health of citizens in the region. The paper will be the first building block of the biometric data of citizens and its contributes to the prevention of many diseases that may afflict the citizen. The paper aims to apply the process of studying the human genome with the latest methods and less costs.
