Designing of control using Matlab and Arduino for a electrohydraulic system from seismic simulation

This article presents the designing and construction of an electrohydraulic system controlled via the microcontroller ATmega328P and the Matlab software using the graphical programming environment Simulink by means of programmable blocks. These blocks achieve the communication through a COM serial port specifically configured for this task; this interaction allows the control of two hydraulic pistons connected to the system's platform, which enables the control of the platform displacement. Through this system, it is possible to reproduce seismic events registered in Lima during the last years.
