Java Deserialization Vulnerabilities and Mitigations

Java deserialization is a clear and present danger as its widely used both directly by applications and indirectly by Java subsystems such as RMI (Remote Method Invocation), JMX (Java Management Extension), JMS (Java Messaging System).
