Schemes and problems of scada system for electrical energy control on railway rolling stock

The article considers issues of construction and tasks of the SCADA system for controlling the electrical energy distribution on railway rolling stock. These are structural and functional circuits, comprising measurement, channels, data processing apparatus and actuators. We present the simulation circuit flow, consumption and accumulation of electrical energy. The results of technological losses calculation in the area of the traction power supply system are provided. Another problem to be solved with the help of the SCADA system is the identification of the mode in which the power is supplied to the system. There is a given algorithm and the logical expression to determine the number of trains on the section, traction modes, idle and the power flow. In conclusion, the article gives the structural scheme developed and the implemented SCADA system with the technical means of the upper and lower levels.
