HUMAN — Hadoop used medical ANalytics : A survey

In the modern age of technology, people always want to get better in terms of efficiency and comfort. Inducing the progress in Information Technology with the progress simultaneously happening in Medical Science, it can be then merged to form a technology which will strive for the betterment of Human Healthcare. Earlier technologies by researchers and computer scientists proposed a system where excel sheets were a medium to maintain various details of a patient referring to their Electronic Health Record (EHR). As the population kept on increasing at an escalating rate, the worldwide Health-Care data increased at such a rate that it became difficult to manage. Thus, this paper proposes a system which can be used to manage such data very efficiently using Hadoop framework which allows access as well as analytics of this healthcare data. Analytics on various grounds can give very deep insight and discover patterns which can then be used for improving the quality of human health. This paper brings together different platforms and algorithms for big data analytics. Last but not the least, various challenges and future scope of this technology have been mentioned and discussed.
