Analysis of automatic sensing model of an autonomous vehicle

The present scenario of transportation is drastically changed in terms of time, distance and speed of transport with smartness in the vehicle which leads to safety, smooth and economically embedded in nature. With the trends in today's autonomous vehicles driven by batteries with electric drives (EVs), the present paper deals with one of the key features of autonomous vehicle, spatial sensing with a Lidar sensor model. This model interface with autonomous vehicle, explains the ranges of sensing in 2D and analysis for positioning of sensors with respect to coverage of distances. The model gives the complete investigation on a spatial angle in the forward direction of the vehicle by formulating control loop and validating the loop using python and processing code with arduino environment.
