Research on the identification and classification of human error factors of metro operation without ATP

With the rapid development of the metro, the human error factors is playing an important role in the process of metro operation, especially when the Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system occurs fault. Based on the 5M model, this research adopts the methods which are literature review and field survey to identify and classify the human error factors during the metro operation without ATP. Eventually it can be concluded that the 5M model can effectively and comprehensively identify and classify the human error factors that the metro is operated in the absence of ATP, so this research also can be used as reference for the study of human error factors which the basis is rather weak.
