Low noise first-order active recursive filter

In this paper, a MMIC active recursive filter has been implemented at X-band. A noise wave formalism is used to calculate the gain and coupling values which permit us to obtain the lowest noise figure. Layout, simulated and measured results are presented to validate our analysis.
