Recent advances on the high frequency electromagnetic modeling and simulation techniques

In this work, the scattering field excited by the perfect conducting quadratic surface is comprehensively studied. The numerical steepest descent path method (NSDP) is invoked to calculate the high oscillatory physical optics integral. Its result agrees very well with the Gordon's integral than asymptotical method. Moreover, the computation effort for the highly oscillatory integral is frequency independent. In the end, we use the Fourier quadrature method to calculate transition and deep shadow scattering field excited by the conducting cylinder.
