Analysis and design of a compact and broadband antenna

A novel compact broadband antenna is proposed in this letter. This idea is based on the traditional antenna printed dipole which is applied in many areas. The proposed antenna is consisted of microstrip barron line, ground plane, two oscillator arms and an inverted-L-shape feeder. This antenna is smaller compared to the conventional antenna, but it can reach the better performance. Through the simulation of the antenna, the return loss reaches 18.61%. The proposed antenna has advantages of light, small and low cost.
