A unifying perspective on phase noise and injection locking

The study of phase noise and injection locking behavior in oscillators has been quite comprehensive. Nevertheless, the variety of methods for analyzing these phenomena has not resulted in a generally accepted approach. Different objectives have spawned several main techniques. This paper takes a newer technique [5] and shows how it may be used to unify some of the many results, promising to provide even greater unification with further study.
