Aging and Cost Optimal Residential Charging for Plug-In EVs

Charging plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) lead to gradual degradation of battery capacity and, hence, pose a hidden cost for each charge cycle. This article proposes a novel framework to minimize the total cost of PEV charging with consideration of both battery degradation and electricity cost.
