Design considerations and peculiarities for hyperbaric manned submersibles life support systems

Summary form only given as follows:- The possibility of the prolonged stay of aquanauts in an hyperbaric environment is conditioned by the life support system (LSS) functioning. The survival of people in extreme or emergency situations with the help of the complex of emergency systems rescue units is required. Three working regimes have to be considered; compression, isopression and decompression. These regimes differ in duration, pressure values, gas composition. Humidity control and heating systems are discussed.
