Specific aspects of microclimate in vehicles

Twenty buses of Transport Company of the Brno city have been randomly selected to realize experimental research on CO
₂
content in commonly performed traffic. Results showed that in tracked vehicles, in which about 40 people were present, the measured CO
₂
concentration was in the range 926 to 2121 ppm. Even this increased CO
₂
concentration in case of the driver may increase the drowsiness, lethargy, fatigue and the like. The decrease in the concentration of the driver can cause an accident.
