Research of controlled phase shifter operation on a physical model of the transmission line

The article describes the approach to carrying experimental studies of controlled phase shifters (CPS) operation on physical model of the transmission line. The objectives of the research are mathematical CPS and power line models verifications used for transmission line operation modes calculations. Description of the physical model of the transmission line and CPS prototype are presented. The basic ratios and methodology for calculation of mathematical model's parameters from experimental data, as well as the scheme for calculation of transmission line operation modes are presented. The experimental data confirming the validity of the CPS and the transmission line models are demonstrated.
