Designing prototype for accessing Veracity using social sensors - big data perspective

Social sensing is firmly taking its stand as the most efficient and surplus journalistic tool. It involves the gathering and verification of news data from Social media. Social media provides a wide range of real-time postings of events from around the globe. Social sensing works out certain executions to process the collected UGC and eradicate fake and falsehoods. Thus assorted data content is implemented with TDT (Topic - Detection and Tracking) to find topic oriented material and the selected content is checked for falsehood with Veracity Analyzers. In the end the processed UGC is eligible to be published as valid news data by journalist.
