Algorithms for vehicle and crew scheduling in regular bus transport

The paper is devoted to computerized optimization of vehicle and crew schedules in municipal and regional bus transport. Vehicle scheduling problem can be formulated as an integer linear program which is solvable by means of so called solver. Minimization of the number of required vehicles and minimization of dead kilometers are the fundamental objectives of optimization. Running board for a bus is closely connected with corresponding crew so it has to fulfill many constraints imposed to drivers shift.
