An efficient security solution for cloud environment

Cloud Computing has been visualized as the next generation technology of IT industries. The cloud is a platform where data owner can remotely store their data in the cloud to avail the high quality applications and services. Cloud is a model where services are provided to the user through cloud service provider (CSP) on pay per use basis. The CSP manages the data of client at data centre. The security and safety issues are the major challenge before the cloud computing technology. The well managed security and safety issue provides better services and build trust in consumers to transfer their data into the cloud. There are many aspects pertaining to security such as data integrity, data confidentiality, and data privacy. These security components can affect the performance of cloud environment. In this paper attempt has been made to review the cloud computing from the point of view of security challenges and more specifically the security of data storage in cloud environment.
