Novel advanced switching technique ZCS/ZVS fed bidirectional DC-DC topology to EVs

This paper presents, novel advanced switching technique ZCS/ZVS fed bidirectional DC-DC topology to Electrical Vehicle (EV) is proposed. This topology works with the reduced gating signal for the converter due to two primary devices with common ground to supply. Fixed duty cycle frequency modulation with source voltage (24 V) is used to design the converter to regulate the output level, which yields better performances through low circulating currents. ZCS for primary side switches and ZVS for secondary side switches of the high frequency transformer based push-pull converter which was implemented in MATLab.
