Product Safety of the Internet of Things [Product Safety Perspectives]

In this column, we will discuss the product safety of the Internet of Things (IoT). Almost by definition, the IoT consists of products that are considered consumer electronics: smart appliances, home automation, and wearable devices all connected to a worldwide remote control and data collection system via the Internet.
