Research on shift strategy for AMT based on drag torque of wet clutch

In order to improve the shift quality of AMT with wet clutch, drag torque characteristic of wet clutch was proposed. Working principle of the drag torque with wet clutch are analyzed, and the dynamic calculation model is built. Principle and model of synchronizer are analyzed. The dynamics equations of the system and the control strategy for the gear shifting were established. Based on the target vehicle, the simulation mode was set up with Matlab /Simulink software. The results showed the drag torque can be used to synchronize transmission speed and satisfy the requirement of speed matching to target gear in shifting process.
