Impact on residential peak consumption of an electrochemical storage system

The paper presents a study about the maximum power actually used by residential customers in Italy, in order to permit the evaluation of different levels of contractual power. The study takes into account different power thresholds and the impact on their number and duration of a photovoltaic power plant and an electric storage system. A description of the control algorithms developed by RSE for the electric storage system is also presented.
