Energetic and thermal performance of induction heating system with permanent magnets

Currently metallurgical and machine-building industries for nonferrous metal workpieces heating use induction installations of longitudinal magnetic field with electrical efficiency less than 0.5. The reported induction heating installations with rotated permanent magnets give the electrical efficiency up to 0.75-0.85 in heating of aluminum workpieces of round and rectangular cross-section. For round workpiece here are present dependencies of integral induced power versus number of poles pairs, rotation speed of magnets and angular size of magnet, for rectangular one - evolution graph for maximal and minimal temperature with rotation speed and number of poles pairs of the magnets' system.
