Research on Synchrophasor computing based on massive COMTRADE data

Variety of transducers of power grid such as, digital fault recorder(DFR), phasor measurement unit (PMU), power quality monitor records the operating state with different frequency. In order to exchange data, a standard data exchange format, COMTRADE, is employed. Full-wave Fourier algorithm was adopted to calculate the synchronized phasor (synchrophasor) and frequency spectrum leakage as a consequence of frequency deviation was studied in the paper. For reducing the computation load, recursive Discrete Fourier Transform (RDFT) was adopted and the calculation time of RDFT and DFT was shown in this paper.
