Study computational simulation and experimental of Tee-joint by Visual-Weld software and Tungsten Inert gas welding process

Computation simulation welding using the finite element method to predict the stresses and residual strains has brought many advantages at the design and process development welding product. This strategy would be save considerable time also as cost than another approach. Welding computational and simulation involves thermal, metallurgical and mechanical should is it such a complex process. This study using commercial Visual-Weld software for analysis and simulation Tee-joint using a new type chamfered edge applied for joining of aluminum alloys and stainless steel. The deformation, residual stress, metallurgic process, the phase transition, hardness, working capacity as well as the longevity of the product, have been investigated. The model and experimental indicate the effects of heat energy to on the penetration depth of welding seam. The experimental results confirm the numerical simulation helped for the heat distribution better during welds.
