One case about comparison of PMSE heating effect with two different radar echoes layers

From EISCAT VHF radar observations it is evident that polar mesosphere summer echoes (PMSE) often show obvious layers. PMSE overshoot describe the effect of dusty plasma parameters on overshoot characteristics curve. In this paper we obtain and compare different PMSE overshoot characteristic curves (OCCs) at 80-85 km and 85-90 km in one hour respectively, from based on the data observed by EISCAT 224 MHz VHF radar on 12 July 2007. The relate intensity of PMSE on the moment when the heater off show some different characteristics in different PMSE layers.
