Numerical simulation of surface dielectric barrier discharge

In order to better study and reveal the discharge mechanism and evolution of the dielectric barrier plasma generator, in this paper, the discharge in atmospheric argon is simulated by 2D numerical method. From the discharge particle chemical reaction of Ar and Ars electronic, it can be obtained that the relationship between the particle concentration change process and the electric field distribution of discharge space in discharging. And the effects of discharge voltage on the time of establishing steady state and electron density are also investigated. The research of this paper has a certain guiding value for establishment of the best working state of dielectric barrier discharge type of plasma generator.
