The estimation method of matching probability in the SAR scene precise guidance system

The performance of the matching algorithm, at the same time, relies heavily on the matching probability, based on which the selection algorithm is applied. This article provides a method of estimating the matching probability of the real time image. The method employs a statistical model as well as an edge detection technique to provide estimation of the number of independent image elements. The application of the techniques gives the value of matching probability of the real time image. The article provides evidences for the possible improvement of the matching algorithms by offering a statistical method of analysis of the real time images.
