120° Accesses CPW transmission lines for TRL calibration standards in a band of 20–67 GHz

Measurements of CPW devices with orthogonal or bended accesses (120° in our case) after VNA calibration with conventional (straight) set of standards may generate additional errors. Using 120° accesses transmission lines for calibration is more appropriate. The design and characterization of the first calibration standards with 120° accesses are proposed. These standards will be used for 2-port vector network analyzer TRL calibration. This work concerns S-parameter measurements of bended accesses of planar devices in the range 20 GHz to 67 GHz.
