Autonomous Evolution in Evolutionary Personal Information Partners: Mechanism and a Case Study

We are now living in the information society, and having to face so much data and information everyday. These data and information are increasing continuously. We always spend much time on filtering these data, information for getting the useful data, information when we need to use them. What we need is an autonomous, active, capable, "information secretary". An autonomous evolutionary information system which is called Evolutionary Personal Information Partners has been proposed. One of the most important characteristics of Evolutionary Personal Information Partner is autonomous evolution. In our investigation there is no research about autonomous evolution until now. This paper proposes a mechanism of the autonomous evolution in the Evolutionary Personal Information Partner, and presents a case study about autonomous evolution and confirms the effectiveness of the mechanism.
