Wireless sensor for determining the impedance of human skin

We have developed a new wireless sensor for determining the impedance of human skin from 10 Hz to 1000 Hz. Skin impedance is a good indicator of hydration and fat intake. It can also indicate incipient melanoma and radiation (UV, sunlight, etc.) induced cell damage. The wireless link enables the impedance sensor to be untethered and more reliably monitor the skin impedance. The skin impedance of one of the authors was monitored to study the effect of calorie intake and will be discussed and presented.
