Active Harmonic Elimination in Double-Star Uncontrolled Rectifier Using Active Inter-Phase Reactor

This paper proposes an active harmonic elimination method in double-star uncontrolled rectifier using active inter-phase reactor. The active inter-phase reactor has an additional winding connected with an auxiliary circuit, which can produce a circulating current to eliminating harmonics in input line current. After using the active inter-phase reactor, the THD of the input line current is about 4%. Some simulation and experiments are carried out to validate the effectiveness of the method.
