20 GS/s photonic analog-to-digital converter using optical comb based on an optoelectronic oscillator

A novel 20 GS/s photonic analog-to-digital converter using optical comb based on an optoelectronic oscillator is demonstrated. The timing jitter of the optical sampling pulses is below 54.9 fs and the ENOB is 3.4 bits.
