An effective feedback scheme for notification service based on IoT technology

Great demand on notification service has been increased in the IoT (Internet of things) environment. With the growing needs of information generated by IoT devices in everyday lives, the development of effective transmission technology on notification service is inevitable. In this paper, we propose an efficient feedback scheme to enhance the performance of notification system. The proposed approach capitalizes a new notion of feedback interval time to maximize the service efficiency by preventing from delivering unnecessary notification. The simulation result shows that the service performance is improved by reducing wasted notifications and average transmission time compared to the existing scheme.
