Comparison of Decision-Making Mechanism between Emotion Behavior Selection and Prospect Theory

In order to realize the autonomous behavior selection of artificial life, an emotion driven behavior selection mechanism is suggested. It is necessary to carry out a comparison between the mechanism and Prospect Theory, because the mechanism is established on the normalized Subjective Value Function of Prospect Theory. The comparison is completed, by the fitting and inverse fitting of the classic cases of Prospect Theory. The comparison results not only explain the differences between them, but also illustrate that the emotion driven behavior selection mechanism is the better risky decision-making method than Prospect Theory.
