Wind energy in Chile: Potential, technology and development

Wind energy has attracted attention in recent years due to its abundance and advancement of support technologies. In this article the wind potential of Chile, as well as used technologies are described. The studies were conducted based on government sites and previous works, where it is possible to observe that wind energy is an excellent alternative to the current energy demand.
