Initial measurements with WM164 (1.1–1.5THz) VNA extenders

Presented here are the first measurements of a device under test from 1100-1500 GHz, in the WM164 waveguide band. The instrument exhibits a dynamic range of ~80 dB and the measured insertion loss of some newly fabricated components agrees well with the theoretical conductor loss in waveguide.
