Testing of RF source and microwave components of the millimeter-wavelength flying RF undulators

The “flying” rf undulator is a helically corrugated waveguide wherein a high-power short rf pulse co-propagates together with a relativistic electron bunch. We describe Ka-band flying undulator developed for high-power test experiments by means of a multi-megawatt backward wave oscillator (BWO).
