Morphology, chemical composition and optical properties of Zn2SnO4 films obtained by pulsed spray pyrolysis

In this report the effect of substrate temperature on morphology, chemical composition and optical properties of Zn
₂
SnO
₄
films obtained by pulsed spray pyrolysis technique was investigated. It was found out, that the transmission coefficients of films are of T = (78-89) % in the range of wavelengths λ = (400-1500) nm and the values of band gap are reduced with the increase of the substrate temperature, from 4.05 eV (T
_s
= 250°C) up to 4.20 eV (T
_s
= 450°C). Chemical composition was estimated by using EDAX technique and the films showed the saturation with oxygen.
