In the present scenario digital image processing occupies a dynamic role in every area of human survival. Image processing refers to progress the digital images and mine attributes from images. Processing a digital image will be a challenging task. Image processing technology has been well occupied in medical technology but the crucial risk is that mortality is raised owed to cancer. Breast cancer has turn out to be the most important causes of death in women. Image segmentation describes an image could be divided into regions based on some similar attributes like color, intensity or texture. In the midst of the budding analysis on image segmentation, provide an outline of segmentation techniques and scrutinize the result in each category. In this review, we are presenting some survey and review of image segmentation techniques.
