6.6-Gbit/s phase modulated impulse-radio generation from RZ-OOK optical signals for optical-wireless systems

We investigated phase modulated impulse radio (IR) signal generated from RZ-OOK optical signals and its demodulation method by down-conversion with twice the phase shift. We examine to separate even bits and odd bits as orthogonal signals. We demonstrated the 6.6-Gbps IR signals with 3 m wireless radio transmission.
