Radio on fibre communication systems based on integrated circuit-antenna modules

In this paper a new transmit/receive module is presented which is based on the integration of millimetre-wave and optoelectronic devices. This module reduces the size, weight, power consumption, reliability and cost of the overall radio on fibre system.
