Event-triggered output-feedback control for switched linear systems with applications to a boost converter

The problem of event-triggered output-feedback control for switched linear systems is investigated. First, an event-triggered output-feedback controller is designed. Then based on the Lyapunov function method and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, some sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the asymptotic stability of the switched system with the event-triggered output-feedback control input under arbitrary switching. Furthermore, the lower bound of the minimum event-triggered inter-event interval is proved to be positive, which thus eliminates the Zeno behavior of sampling. Finally, an example is exploited on a boost converter switched systems to verify the effectiveness of the obtained control scheme.
