Experimental investigation of electroluminescent light emitting diodes based on halide perovskites

Organic/inorganic hybrid perovskite of CH
₃
NH
₃
PbBr
₃
as a light emitting diode (LED) is investigated in this report. The synthesize method of the perovskite as well as the UV/visible absorption, and electroluminescence characteristics of the perovskite are studied. Also, the I-V characteristic of the synthesized thin film is obtained. We report on remarkably high electroluminescence (EL), and absorption spectra of the CH
₃
NH
₃
PbBr3 thin film perovskite which is promising for future light emitting diodes and panels.
