Direct Torque control of induction motors based on space vector modulation

Mostly induction motors have common range of application in many industries and tractions. Thus, the control of induction motor gains popularity and seeks attention of researchers in recent years. Direct torque control (DTC) is one of the methods for the control action of induction motor efficiently. This paper presents DTC of three phase squirrel cage induction motor model is designed and implemented with simple approach. This analysis is carried out with help of MATLAB/SIMULINK software.
