Thus, the greater the frequency of the processor, the greater the resulting temperature. Based on the calculation results overclock testing conducted on an Intel i5 4670K, increased processor performance increased by 17 %, the resulting temperature rise by 27 % and power output increased by 34 % from the default frequency.
