Introduction of "fluffy" Hough transforms for the localization of the aorta in endosonographic image sequence processing

This paper presents a novel, fuzzy-like modification to Hough transforms for circle detection. The technique is applied to ultrasound images of the peri-esophageal region for the localization of the aorta. The results demonstrate promise.
