Comprehensive comparison of term weighting method for classification in Indonesian corpus

In current digital era, human language text is an important type of data. Term weighting process is a crucial part of text processing. Unfortunately, to the best of our knowledge, there is no comprehensive comparative study of term weighting schemes for Indonesia language. This paper compare several existing term weighting scheme for Indonesian corpus. Evaluation was conducted for classification. Experiment results shows that term weighting scheme used can significantly influence classification effectiveness.
