Monitoring of Earth Air Tunnel (EAT) a smart cooling system using Wireless Underground Sensor Network

With the development in Wireless Sensor Network, the emergingtechnologies are conquering the domain. One type of technology is the Wireless Underground Sensor Networks (WUSNs). WUSN mainly focuses on the transmission of data using sensor node at the subsurface region of the soil. The technology mainly used for monitoring environment conditions without wireless communication capability. In this technology the sensors are buried underground or placed at underground levels like Tunnels, Chambers or Earth Air Tunnels. WUSN promises to fill this gap and provide robust infrastructure for realistic application. WUSAN's and Terrestrial WSN differ from each other in domain of medium. Complete simulation of the underground wireless channel was only available recently when the differences between the propagation of electromagnetic (EM) waves in soil and in air are significant. The differences between the propagation of electromagnetic (EM) waves in soil and in air are so significant that a complete characterization of the underground wireless channel was only available currently. In this paper we are focusing on the network design, the data transmission as well as the network topology used under Earth Air Tunnel.
